Following a day of pouring rain on their wedding, we took Dan and Mel out for some location photos a few weeks later. Once again they were a delight to work with and it was great to get to know them better too. We really enjoyed our session together and we love some of the moments they allowed us to capture : )

Dan and Mel : Wedding (Part 1 of 2)

We were delighted to photograph the wedding of Dan and Mel at the end of June. The weather was terrible but the lovely couple were completely unfazed. Their joy was in focusing on the marriage itself, witnessed by many loved ones. Thank you for letting us be part of your special day and for being such wonderful clients!

After all the excitement of the ceremony and chatting with their guests, Dan and Mel were in need of a cuppa. Due to the non-stop rain they decided to chill at a friend’s place before the reception. We got a few snaps of the couple and their bridal party here. The location shoot was done on a another day because of the rain, so keep an eye out for those photos – they’ll be up soon!

Katie and Takeshi : Engagement

Congratulations to Katie & Takeshi for your beautiful wedding last weekend! We took some photos to help them celebrate their engagement earlier on.

We’ve known Katie for a number of years, but this photoshoot was the first time that we met her then-fiance Takeshi. We really liked him! Takeshi moved here from Japan not so long ago (Katie speaks Japanese) so we felt that a few photos near beautiful Sydney harbour might be nice for family back home. This pair were nervous about the shoot but when it came down to it, they really relaxed in front of the camera. We loved taking photos for this special couple, and also getting to know Takeshi. Thanks for a fun afternoon!

John and Jen : Engagement

Our friends John and Jen are getting married next March and we had the privilege of capturing some photos for the newly engaged couple. The clouds threatened but the rain stayed away and the wind was quiet on a chilly June day at Cockatoo Island. With many places to explore these were just some of the interesting spots we found. Our friends were a bit nervous about the photo shoot – camera shy perhaps – but they soon relaxed and we got some lovely moments with this photogenic pair. Jack and Karman : Autumn Shoot

Our friends Jack and Karman expressed interest in an Autumn photo shoot (Jack’s favourite season) so with winter fast approaching, we went searching for some tress that were still in leaf. We were in luck – there were some gorgeous reds, oranges and yellows to be found, and the leaves that had already fallen to the ground created a beautiful carpet under foot.

There was no special occasion for this shoot – it was just for fun – but nonetheless we loved capturing some great moments for our friends – happy, laughing, playful. Here are some of the shots from the afternoon, straight out of the camera

Yuan and Angie : Engagement

We had a great time photographing our friends Yuan and Angie in early April. They are getting married in September and we had the privilege of taking their engagement photos. They are such a fun pair and we’re really happy with how the photos turned out, largely due to their playful and smiley natures, especially Angie! It was a cold and grey early morning when we arrived on location, and it even rained for a while, but thank God for the beautiful sunshine that came out shortly after.

Thanks guys for your energy and enthusiasm. Yuan was getting pretty hungry by the end but he hid it well!
