We are excited to be photographing Jonathan and Linda’s wedding later this year. In March we met them for the first time and took some photos at the place they got engaged : ) Here are a few highlights from our session.

We met Pre and Holly through another couple whose wedding we photographed last year (Mitch & Nicole). We instantly felt comfortable with these two – they were friendly, down to earth and, as we were to find out, incredibly sweet. When Holly came down the aisle – what an expression on Pre’s face! Maybe it’s because we are still new to this business (we hope it won’t change!), but we have not tired from hearing people share their different life stories on their wedding day. On this occasion, I (Kat) struggled to not get too teary during the emotional reception speeches – not helpful when you are trying to look through a camera lens! : )
Pre and Holly, thank you for asking us to capture the photos of your very special day. Congratulations again and we pray that you will have a wonderful marriage and be a blessing to others through it.

Last month we had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Katherine & Tuo.
We loved all the little details the bride & groom chose for the day: the delicate vintage styled dress, the vibrant flower arrangements, the funky green kombi van that provided the transport for the day…but most of all we were touched by the laughter and love so evident throughout the wedding. Congratulations again, Katherine & Tuo; may God bless you in your new marriage : )

A beautiful summer day in late January saw us photographing the wedding of the lovely and fun Travis & Hongy. There were plenty of laughs, dance moves and silly poses throughout the day but also a lot of heartfelt words and tears. It was a joy to be able to capture the day for them and their family & friends.

It’s exciting to hear that Katherine and Tuo are getting married next month. Our initial plan for this engagement shoot was to take them to The Rocks but we decided on the day to instead explore some of the less frequented parts of the Sydney CBD. We’re glad that we did this because the photos turned out quite nicely : )

Our friends Rakesh & Sunita welcomed their baby boy Taran in 2013 and we recently had a chance to visit and take some family photos. Taran is adorable and was very good for the whole session, although a little sleepy by the end of it all – being the centre of attention is hard work!

Do you remember a very smoky and hazy day in early November when fires were raging across the state? We had arranged to spend that Saturday morning with our friends Janet and Jon at one of their favourite spots in Manly. With the unusual conditions that day, it didn’t look like we expected, but despite this, there were some interesting results. We really enjoyed our time with these two and hope you enjoy the lovely moments captured : )

On a breezy and beautiful October afternoon we met Travis and Hong-An, who will be getting married in January. We had a lovely time getting to know this couple and taking some photos for them at the place where they had their first date : ) We had lots of fun with them and are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding day!
