Gordon, Kat & M: family & maternity session

It was a privilege to take these family photos for dear friends, and we were lucky to get them in mere days before baby two arrived earlier than expected. Its a special time just before a new baby joins the family and I love capturing that anticipation! And with a second baby on the way, I love to snap those precious memories with the oldest child just before they become a big brother or sister!

Takeshi + Katie : Maternity Session

Late last year I (Kat) was able to sneak in a quick maternity session for some dear friends of ours, not long before their bub was due. There is something so beautiful about this time in people’s lives. Pregnant mums often say they don’t feel beautiful, but feel more like a whale (I felt it myself), however from where others are standing, they are just gorgeous and glowing. There’s also something really special about seeing the expectant couple interact as they anticipate the arrival of their baby. What a privilege it was to capture this moment in time.
