Our friends Rakesh & Sunita welcomed their baby boy Taran in 2013 and we recently had a chance to visit and take some family photos. Taran is adorable and was very good for the whole session, although a little sleepy by the end of it all – being the centre of attention is hard work!

Do you remember a very smoky and hazy day in early November when fires were raging across the state? We had arranged to spend that Saturday morning with our friends Janet and Jon at one of their favourite spots in Manly. With the unusual conditions that day, it didn’t look like we expected, but despite this, there were some interesting results. We really enjoyed our time with these two and hope you enjoy the lovely moments captured : )

On a breezy and beautiful October afternoon we met Travis and Hong-An, who will be getting married in January. We had a lovely time getting to know this couple and taking some photos for them at the place where they had their first date : ) We had lots of fun with them and are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding day! Following a day of pouring rain on their wedding, we took Dan and Mel out for some location photos a few weeks later. Once again they were a delight to work with and it was great to get to know them better too. We really enjoyed our session together and we love some of the moments they allowed us to capture : )
We finished the photo session with a walk around the grounds of the church they were married at : )

We were delighted to photograph the wedding of Dan and Mel at the end of June. The weather was terrible but the lovely couple were completely unfazed. Their joy was in focusing on the marriage itself, witnessed by many loved ones. Thank you for letting us be part of your special day and for being such wonderful clients!

After all the excitement of the ceremony and chatting with their guests, Dan and Mel were in need of a cuppa. Due to the non-stop rain they decided to chill at a friend’s place before the reception. We got a few snaps of the couple and their bridal party here. The location shoot was done on a another day because of the rain, so keep an eye out for those photos – they’ll be up soon!

Congratulations to Katie & Takeshi for your beautiful wedding last weekend! We took some photos to help them celebrate their engagement earlier on.
We’ve known Katie for a number of years, but this photoshoot was the first time that we met her then-fiance Takeshi. We really liked him! Takeshi moved here from Japan not so long ago (Katie speaks Japanese) so we felt that a few photos near beautiful Sydney harbour might be nice for family back home. This pair were nervous about the shoot but when it came down to it, they really relaxed in front of the camera. We loved taking photos for this special couple, and also getting to know Takeshi. Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Our friends John and Jen are getting married next March and we had the privilege of capturing some photos for the newly engaged couple. The clouds threatened but the rain stayed away and the wind was quiet on a chilly June day at Cockatoo Island. With many places to explore these were just some of the interesting spots we found. Our friends were a bit nervous about the photo shoot – camera shy perhaps – but they soon relaxed and we got some lovely moments with this photogenic pair. Thanks guys for a fun afternoon of photos and getting to know each other better too. We hope you enjoy the pictures 🙂
