It was a wonderful privilege to photograph this wedding the Summer before last (now very belatedly appearing on our public website!), for two people who are not just clients but friends. Even more so than during their engagement shoot I marvelled at how these two kids I used to know, grew up to be these wonderful adults, by God’s grace. It was also evident how much family and friends played a role in their lives, shaping who they are and bringing them to this point. And how blessed we were to still be able to gather and celebrate in the midst of a pandemic (before the next wave came), forgetting for a little while, and rejoicing in the moment. The wedding day is just the start of the journey, but I hope these photos will be a reminder of what a good start it was!
